Unfortunately, we do not have any pre-production evidence for our logo designs. Due to the complex text-based nature of the logo we planned to create, it was difficult for our designer to make any sketches that formed a similar style to the design we wanted. As a result, he had to focus many hours in Adobe Illustrator to fine-tune the design to how the team visioned it. The primary consideration was to find a typeface that followed the design language of the brand. This followed to be Biggan Pro, a modern sans serif typography which encapsulates the brand ideology of smashin' burgers.
The logo that you now see is almost identical to the initial vision that we discussed.

The typical Smashin' Burgers customer has high expectations for our brand. They want high-quality food and drink, a good atmosphere, and great customer service, all for a reasonable price.
Our customers seek adventure, always looking for something new and pushing boundaries. These are aligned with our brand values, we want to push the boundaries within the street-food sector.
Our typical customer is aged 20-36. This is the main age demographic that we promote the Smashin' brand towards.
In our research we discovered a market average of a 70% male audience, we were able to base this on various data points including; the branding, and our alcohol range.
The customer works in business or the creative/design industry. Examples include; graphic designer, textile or clothing designer, or video producer.
These tend to be positions with a good amount of disposable income, enabling the customer to seek new experiences.
Patrons outside of this profile are also very welcome to enjoy the smashing burgers experience, we place ourselves as an inclusive brand and want to share the experience with as many people as possible.
Our main aim at smashin' is that we provide a great customer experience, and that we are smashing your expectations.
BRand Guidelines
This is the brand guidelines for smashin' burgers. It contains all of the relevant information on the graphics and visual applications of our brand. This includes guides on suitable usage of our logo and the proper colour ways including hex codes. Our iconic colour palette is showcased, same for the brand typography, Biggan Pro.
We also explain how to appropriately adjust images to give them the smashin' look.
We finally showcase our brand in application, previewing our advertising displays and the preferred branding of our logistics products.
